Funeral Services for Holdenville resident, Sue Rogers, were held 10:00
am Monday, February 14, 2005 at the Free Pentecostal Holiness Church in
Lamar with Reverend Darrell Seeley of Wetumka and Reverend Claude Graham
of Moore officiating. Burial followed the service at Lamar Cemetery
under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home of Holdenville.
Pallbearers were Richard Gamer, Butch Skipworth, Jami Skipworth, Randy
Berry, Roger Evans, and Bobbie Ervin. Honorary pallbearers were Mike
Martin, Howie Zimmerman, Chris Jones, Jeff Jones, and Bobby Kilcrease.
Sue passed away in Holdenville on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at the
age of 45.
Wanda Sue McCoy Rogers was born November 21, 1959 in Wetumka,
Oklahoma to Donnie McCoy and Nadine Skipworth McCoy. She was raised in
Hughes County, spending most of her life in Holdenville. Sue married
Troy Don Rogers on July 7, 1978.
Sue was a member of Free Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lamar where
she lived for fourteen years. She worked as a personal care aid for
Oklahoma Nursing Homes Limited and enjoyed attending church.
Preceding Sue in death were her grandparents, Jess and Naomi
Skipworth and Jewel May McCoy. Cliffie Opal McCoy and Samuel Stedman
McCoy; sister, Mary Ellen McCoy; and niece, Tiffanie Dawn McCoy.
Survivors are Sue's daughter, Meghan Nichole Rogers and grandchild,
Azlyn Jewel Simmrell of Seminole; son. Hunter Don Jessie Scott of the
home; parents, Donnie and Nadine McCoy of Holdenville; siblings, Rickey
Jess McCoy of Hubbard, Texas, Joyce Marie McCoy of Holdenville, and
Christina Lucille McCoy of Moore; grandfather. Franklin Lee McCoy;
nieces and nephews, Richard Vannoy Gamer, Wendy Marie Zimmerman, Tasha
Jo Lynn, Brandon Heath, Brian Keith Blake Logan, and Brady Jess, Keeley
and Britney McCoy, Courtney Rachelle and Jacob Cameron Swadley.
Also surviving are three great nieces and two great nephews, other
relatives and friends. |
