Ronnie Dale
Price, age 62, passed away September 7, 2010. He was born March 3,
1948 to Bill and Myrtle Price. Ronnie was of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Billy Wayne
Price.
Ronnie graduated from Moss School in 1965 and served in
the National Guard right after school. He worked for Tinker Field Air
Base and on the oil rigs.
In 1968 Ronnie married Sandra Joy Bailey. Out of
that union twins were born, Todd and Tami. Ronnie was a member of
the Elks Lodge for several years. He enjoyed fishing, camping,
hunting and gardening.
Survivors include a son, Todd Price and wife Shelley; a
daughter, Tami Hodguin and husband Roberto, three grandsons, Caleb and
Austin Price and Alek Hodguin, two brothers, Gary and Randy Price.
nephew, Reggie Price; and several other nieces and nephews and longtime
companion Victoria Davis. His step-father, Bill Lucas also survives him.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday,
September 10, 2010, at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger
McElroy officiating. Internment followed at the Price Family
Homestead with Walter Mitchon, Mark Madden, James Harris, Clyde Byerley,
Wendell Cherry and Jack Ballew serving as pallbearers. Honorary
pallbearers were Billy Dean Bishop, R. H. Akin, and Reggie Price.
Services were entrusted to Fisher Funeral Home.
