     Lloyd William Stringfellow, 88, of Holdenville passed away on August 7, 2016. He was born on May 13, 1928 in Hughes County to Otis and Gladys (Bernard) Stringfellow.
   Lloyd graduated from Moss High School. He married Ina Smith on December 3, 1945 in Holdenville and the couple had two children, Sharon and Ronnie. He worked all his life as a rancher and loved his life’s work. He enjoyed working with his cattle and seeing the newborns each year. He was always generous to share his wealth of knowledge and wisdom regarding the cattle business with others. He also enjoyed attending sporting events and his grandchildren school events.
   Preceding him in death are his parents and sisters, Hallagene Harmon and Charlene Upchurch. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Ina Stringfellow of the home; children Sharon Nolen and husband Richard of Holdenville, and Ronnie Stringfellow and wife Saundra of Holdenville; grandchildren Danny Nolen and wife Michelle, Kevin Nolen and wife Patty, Alan Jones, Melinda Wells and husband Jay, and Jason Stringfellow; great-grandchildren Wyatt Jones, Matthew Jones, Hillary Humphreys, Hayley Price, Kylie Price, Karson Nolen, Harlee Nolen, Heston Nolen, Carter Stringfellow, and Jaxon Stringfellow; great-great-granddaughter Hadley Humphreys; siblings Juanita Brown of Holdenville, Harold Dean Stringfellow of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Patsy Hladik of Wichita, Kansas, and Billie Leewright of Holdenville; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and host of other relatives and friends.
  Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 11th, at the First Baptist Church of Holdenville. Bro. Jerry Summy will officiate the service assisted by Bro. Rob Lindley.
   Pallbearers were Danny Nolen, Kevin Nolen, Alan Jones, Jason Stringfellow, Wyatt Jones, Matthew Jones and Harold Stringfellow, Jr. Honorary bearers were PD Brown, Jackie Brown, Randy Brown, Jimmy Brown, Billy Brown, and Mark Brown. Interment followed at the Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
