Funeral Services for Holdenville resident, Aubrey Price, was held
Monday July 28, 2008 at 10:00a.m. at Holdenville's First Baptist Church.
Interment followed at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of
Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home. Aubrey passed away Friday, July 25, 2008
at Holdenville General Hospital at 88 years of age.
Aubrey attended Moss school and later married Lorene Conditt on
November 25, 1937. Aubrey enjoyed farming and ranching his whole life,
and enjoyed hunting and fishing and rebuilding bulldozers in his spare
time. He also pumped oil wells for Skelly Oil Company for fifteen years.
Aubrey loved his ranch where he was born and lived there his entire
life.
Aubrey Price was born October 29, 1919 in Ragtown, Oklahoma; the
son of B.L. Price and Viola Jane Austin Price, they preceded him in
death along with his brother, Ernest Price.
Survivors include his wife, Lorene Price of Holdenville, Oklahoma;
son, Harvey and wife Alice Price, of Wetumka, Ok; son, Don Price, of
Horntown; grandchildren: Scott, and wife Melinda Price, of Wetumka Ok.;
Lori and husband, Sam McClure, of Norman Ok.; Leslie Don Price of
Scottsdale, AZ.; Lannette and husband, Jeff; and Tina Price; great
grandchildren: Hillary Price, Hayley Price, Kylie Price, Harrison
McClure, and Molly McClure with a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Ray Finch, Gayland Lenning, John Chastain, Jerry Tynes,
Ernest Moore, honorary pallbearers are Dr. Bobby Irby, Grant Osborne,
Dr. Kenneth Smith, Kenneth Hughes, and Warren Upchurch |
