Anna Marie Woodrum
August 10, 1915  -  May 23, 2003
 

     Anna Marie (Gilbert) Woodrum passed away Friday, May 23, 2003 at the home of her son, Kenneth, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 87. She was born August 10, 1915 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Ed and Lula Gilbert. Anna was a lifelong resident of Hughes County and a long time member of the Church of God in Holdenville. She attended Moss Schools and married Troy Wesley Woodrum on July 1, 1934 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Nora, Carrie, Evie and Emma; two brothers, Allen and Floyd; and her husband of 62 years, Troy on January 1, 1997
     Anna is survived by one son, Kenneth Woodrum and his wife, Jennie Lou of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and her granddaughter, Michelle Eades and her husband, Rick of Moore, Oklahoma; three great grandsons and two great granddaughters. She is also survived by one "sister", Dorothy Farriss.
     Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at the First Church of God in Holdenville with Reverend Jon Ewers officiating. Pallbearers were Aubrey Price, Warren Upchurch, Howard Upchurch, Donald Hardwick, Scott Olivo and Lloyd Stringfellow. Mrs. Woodrum was buried at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
