The Oklahoma State Boards of Education solicited schools for a bell to hang in the
bell tower of their new building
when it was built in 1988.
The School board voted to offer the old Moss Bell and the board accepted.
The old Bell was being stored in the old Coal House or what some called
the Smoke House.
There
is a plaque at the entrance of the building that tells about the bell and
who donated it.
