I'm updating my information.
After almost 50 years in California, I have moved to Yukon, Oklahoma. It's
nice to be "home" again. Check out my blog at: http://pbrowning.blogspot.com Although I graduated from Lamar High, I only attended one year. I must say, it was a great year, but I spent more than four years at Moss, graduating from the 8th grade there, and staying for my freshman, sophomore and junior years there. We lived at Hickory Grove, and I have the best memories of those days. * See Below |

I found this website surfing the Web for something else, and oh,
my, what a lot of memories this brings back.
I went to Moss my first 3 years of high school (my father, Frank
Lucas, coached at Moss before going to Wetumka High). My mother, Willa
Lucas, taught at Carson, and that's where I lived my senior year of high
school.
Since then I've taught school, done a lot of traveling, and worked
for a couple of newspapers. I recently wrote my first novel, a mystery
titled FULL CIRCLE. You can read the first two chapters at my website,
and I'm working on the second book in the series. http://www.patbrowning.com
I met Glen Holcomb at Lamar, and we got married in 1945. We
divorced later, but remained friends. Glen's family moved to Midwest
City, and he was in the first graduating class at Midwest City High. On
a recent trip to Oklahoma, I saw a photo of his junior class at Lamar
High School, and oh, gosh, he was cute! No wonder his nickname was
"Tyrone" and no wonder I fell for him like a ton of bricks! Where did
the time go?
If I can find some of my photos from those old days, I'll post them
here.
Anybody left out there from the Class of 1943?
