Lamar Homecoming Another
Success

Lamar's 42nd. Annual Homecoming
was another successful year. There was around 125 people in
attendance from seven different states and all over the state of
Oklahoma.
Minda McCoy McClain
of Chewelah, WA came the longest
distance, 2,300 miles, to get here; Jesse and Sue Williams, 1,150 miles
from Mammoth, AZ;
Gwen Williams, 1,200 miles, from Jacksonville, FL;
Robert Gann,
1,370 miles from Nashville, GA; Billye "Luna" Hazlett from Choteau, MT;
J. D. Elliott from Sequin, TX and Jack Crawford from Lavoca AR.
There was 110 people fed during the event.
Rose Morrow
of Holdenville won the 50-50 pot and Samantha Larney won the senior
citizens quilt. |
